Dallas Mavericks star and Jordan Brand athlete, Luka Doncic is ready to launch his first signature sneaker, the Luka 1. While the Jordan Luka 1 is set to take over and reign well into 2023, Jordan Brand is still cooking up special editions of its latest game shoes for its high profile players. Up next, another AJ 36 inspired by Luka.
Nicknamed the “El Matador” edition, this Air Jordan 36 takes us back to Luka’s playing days for Real Madrid. The sneaker comes in a chile red, metallic gold, university red, and black colorway. Sporting an all-red design with metallic gold detailing inspired by traje de luces costumes worn by traditional bullfighters in Spain. “El Matador” labeling can be seen via the inside tongue tag and back heel pull tabs, a nod to Doncic’s style of play.
The Air Jordan 36 Luka Doncic El Matador is set to release on August 31st, 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online.
