With his team fighting for the NBA Championship, Jayson Tatum looks to bring banner 18 home to Boston when all is said and done. Not any easy task, the Golden State Warriors have already proven to be tough competition with the series tied at 1-1. While Tatum continues to rock the current Air Jordan game shoe, the AJ 36, a limited edition colorway is set to release.
Dubbed the “Taco Jay” edition, this Air Jordan 36 pays tribute to the Tatum family tradition of eating a taco dinner after games. A player exclusive, they come in a citron pulse, black, atomic green, and white colorway. The yellow corn tortillas and green guacamole inspiration are found covering the entire sneaker, with a bright citron-based upper. Green and orange accents are finished off by a custom “Taco Jay” branding on the tongue, insoles, and back heel tabs. Finishing things off is the custom tissue paper and box.
The Air Jordan 36 Taco Jay is set to release on June 17th, 2022. It will drop via the Nike SNKRS app. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $195. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
