Jordan Brand hasn't shown much love to the Jordan 8 in recent years, with very limited colorways hitting shelves. The 30th anniversary of the model in 2023 saw a few notable releases, including the Jordan 8 Winter, Jordan 8 Playoff, and a collaboration with SoleFly. However, 2024 has yet to feature any new drops for the Jordan 8. As we look ahead to 2025, sneakerheads can rejoice as the iconic Air Jordan 8 Retro Aqua makes its highly anticipated return. House of Heat and Elden Monitors first reported news of this release.
Sole Retriever can confirm that the Air Jordan 8 Retro Aqua will return in OG fashion, featuring a black and grey nubuck upper. The sleek design is complemented by black neoprene on the tongue, offering comfort and style. The iconic chenille tongue tag, adorned in aqua blue, purple, black, and red, proudly displays the Jumpman logo. Additional branding includes the 23 on the strap across the tongue. Iron grey hues accentuate the eyestays, vamp, and overlays around the collar and heel, while a multi-color TPU panel is placed on the lateral heel for added flair. The sneaker is completed with a purple and blue midsole and a black and blue rubber outsole, delivering a cohesive and vibrant look.
The Air Jordan 8 Retro Aqua will release in May 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $210 for men, with gradeschool sizes at $160, preschool sizes at $90, and toddler sizes at $70.
