Things have been quiet when it comes to Air Jordan 8 Retro releases the past few years. That may be a good thing as Jordan Brand gets a chance to refresh the silhouette, drop new colorways, and leave some OG’s in the vault to regain their coveted stature down the road.
While we await the Rui Hachimura edition, another Air Jordan 8 is set to release as a part of Jordan Brand’s Summer 2022 lineup. Nicknamed the “Taxi Opti Yellow” edition, this AJ 8 sports a smooth all-leather upper, paired with a solid rubber outsole. Coming in all-black, the yellow accents are seen on the mid-foot strap and buckle, chenille tongue logo, plastic heel panel, midsole, and on the toe of the outsole.
The Air Jordan 8 Retro Taxi Opti Yellow W is set to release in July 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online.
