ANTA and Kyrie Irving have a ton of heat on the horizon. Sole Retriever was fortunate enough to go to China to see what is coming in the pipeline for ANTA’s Kai line. Before we can get our hands on Kyrie’s upcoming lifestyle and running products, ANTA has more Kai 1s on the way, with the once-China exclusive Yin and Yang Pack dropping in the States.
Like the Chinese philosophical symbol, the Yin and Yang pack has one White and one Black pair. Both feature the same engineered mesh base with TPU overlays reinforcing the upper. Intricate embroidery comes atop these panels, while an ancient script-like font is used for the Kyrie Irving branding across the forefoot strap. More Kyrie branding is atop the tongue with his Kai logo, while ANTA and Kai take over the TPU heel counter. Providing a break from the monochrome look on the white pair is metallic silver on the TPU midfoot shank and the sockliner. Underfoot, both pairs come complete with a tonal midsole hosting full-length Nitro Edge foam paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
The ANTA Kai 1 Yin and Yang Pack released today, September 27, 2024, through ANTA online. Available in men’s sizing, both pairs retail for $125.
