The atmos x adidas ZX 8000 G-SNK 10 Pack Releases in 2025
Japanese streetwear boutique atmos is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year and is collaborating with adidas to renew the G-SNK project, with the latest addition to the series in the form of two pairs of ZX 8000 entitled Ura. One of the most popular adidas models since its first release in 1989, the ZX 8000 was revolutionary at the time. Incorporating a Torsion bar into the sole system to provide support from the front to the back of the foot when being worn made the sneaker one of the most comfortable on the market. Combined with the bright aesthetic and material choice that makes the bright colors shine even more, the shoe captured the adoration of sneakerheads across the globe.
Utilizing the original colorway of the ZX 8000 for one pair, the beloved Aqua, the nostalgic vibes are in full flow. The name Ura, translated from Japanese, means "inside out," references the second pair, a reverse palette, bringing an even more vibrant look to the silhouette. atmos Creative Director Hirofumi Kojima took to his IG to share images of the upcoming pairs and confirmed the Aqua pair would be released first, with the Yellow set to release later in the year as a commemorative 10th Anniversary pair.
atmos has updated the look with a snakeskin glow-in-the-dark pattern that covers both shoes outside the midfoot and tongue and features padded synthetic materials. Every detail on the shoes is colored the opposite of the other, including the lace jewels; the primarily yellow pair has 10th Anniversary Edition embroidered on the inside tongue tag. Both pairs also feature purple accents, as is traditional for the model.
The atmos x adidas ZX 8000 G-SNK 10 Pack is set to release in 2025 exclusively via atmos online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, retail is to be announced.
