Babylon LA's Dr. Martens Collab Has A Tear-Away Upper

California-based streetwear brand, Babylon LA is the latest to put their own unique twist on the classic Dr. Martens 1461. A shoe that is as synonymous with Dr. Martens as the Air Force 1 is with Nike, it continues to be elevated and re-worked, 60+ years later.
Fresh for the harsher weather ahead this winter season, the Babylon LA x Dr. Martens 1461 comes in a clean olive and black colorway. Featuring a tear-away upper, the top layer, in olive green, comes in canvas. Either after use or customized by the owner, a second layer, made up of Wanama leather in black is unveiled. A zipper has been added to the sides, providing easy on-and-off access. Babylon LA branding is present on the zipper and heel, with dual branding on the tongue tags and insoles. A classic black DMS air-cushioned sole with yellow welt stitching ties everything together.
The Babylon LA x Dr. Martens 1461 Olive is set to release on November 21st, 2022. It will drop at Dr. Martens and select retailers worldwide both online and in-store.
