BEAMS’ Exclusive New Balance 1000 Releases April 2025
Published
New Balance successfully brought back an unknown performance runner from 1999 and turned it into one of its more popular sneakers in the release calendar — the New Balance 1000. Since its revival in early 2024, many key collaborators have their version of the sneaker, including Concepts, Joe Freshgoods, Kith, Aime Leon Dore, and more. Its latest release is coming to us exclusively via BEAMS, the Japanese retailer.
The 1000 appears here in a familiar black makeup, which has happened multiple times in GR form and via collaboration. However, the unique material makeup and the asymmetrical shading of the N logo and the materials themself make this pair stand out from the pack. Here, the N logo comes in a white TPU on the lateral side of the right shoe and the medial of the left, while the left shoe features black on its lateral N logo. The base continues this as the left shoe has mesh and the right ripstop nylon.

Glossy patent leather defines the overlays of the right pair, while the left opts for a suede and nubuck finish accented by a minor hit of patent leather on the heel overlay. Although BEAMS branding is not on the sneaker, the insole’s New Balance logo is rendered in the retailer’s signature orange hue. Finishing the design are the 3M laces, a black midsole, and a black outsole.
The BEAMS Exclusive New Balance 1000 Black will release on April 10, 2025, through BEAMS America’s pop-up in Los Angeles. As of now, the retail price has yet to be announced.
