After releasing 50 pairs of the F&F-exclusive RAL7000STUDIOS x adidas ZX Mutant earlier in the year, it seems the experimental footwear design collective is back for more foam-based silhouettes. While not on the same level as The Three Stripes, BERSHKA, the Spanish-based fast fashion brand owned by Zara’s parent company, is teaming up with the Italian-based collective to release three colorways of their collaborative foam clog.
Constructed out of SUSTAINABLE+ foam that features 51% pre-consumer industrial waste, the three monochromatic colorways unveiled come in Orange, Black, and White and appear to be hand-carved thanks to its sculptural-like organic design. Thanks to the manufacturing process, each pair will be unique due to the uneven surface and random distribution of recycled products throughout the clog. Branding between the companies that worked on this design can be found back on the heel with RAL7000STUDIOS debossed into the mold while XL EXTRALIGHT, the brand responsible for the foam material, and BERSHKA appear on the molded outsole.
The BERSHKA x RAL7000STUDIOS Clog is slated to have a pre-launch on September 12th, 2022 exclusively through RAL7000ITEMS.com. As of this writing, pricing and sizing information is TBA.
