Converse is always open to collaborations. They released dozens of collaborative efforts yearly. Fresh off working with Martine Ali and Kasina, the Boston-based brand has partnered with UK-based retailer Beyond Retro for a pack of unique Chuck 70s.
The Beyond Retro x Converse Chuck 70 Upcycled Canvas Pack features a Chuck 70 Hi alongside a Chuck 70 Ox. Both pairs feature a multi-colored, upcycled canvas upper made of preloved floral garments sourced by Beyond Retro. What makes this pack stand out the most is the fact that no two pairs will be alike. Every floral design is unique, with distinct variations in the hues and patterns.
The Chuck 70 Hi comes in black, red, and blue, with mismatched colors on the lateral and medial sides. The tongues are both black but feature different floral designs on each. An egret-colored vulcanized rubber sole completes the look. The Chuck 70 Ox features a black-based design with mismatched designs on all portions of the PrimaLoft insulated upper. Like its high-top counterpart, it is also finished by an egret vulcanized rubber sole.
The Beyond Retro x Converse Chuck 70 Upcycled Canvas Pack will release on December 5, 2023, through Converse and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the high-top retails for $110 while the low comes in at $105.
