Currently on tour supporting her latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, Billie Eilish has been taking the stage in some fire footwear from Nike Inc. While many of these performances have been in iconic Jordan retros or Nike silhouettes, Eilish has taken to Instagram to tease a Converse collaboration that features Hit Me Hard and Soft branding.
Eilish’s history with Nike Inc. goes back to 2021, when she launched an AJKO and an Air Jordan 15, soon followed by multiple Air Force 1 Low and High colorways. More recently, Billie was given multiple Air Alpha Force 88 colorways. This collaboration on the Converse Chuck Taylor marks her first non-Nike/Jordan Brand project. Initially, Eilish revealed images of the outsole that split "Hit Me Hard and Soft" between the left and right shoe.
The following day, Converse and Billie officially announced the Converse By You collaboration on the Chuck Taylor All-Star and Chuck Taylor All-Star Lift Platform. Each pair comes with customizable Billie Eilish graphics that can be changed to one's liking, and of course, you can change the colorblocking on the pair. Lyrics from her songs, including those from BLUE and CHIHIRO, are also available to add to the sidewall of the midsole.
Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft Converse By You Chuck Taylor and Chuck Taylor All-Star Lift Platform will be available for purchase on October 17, 2024, through Converse online. Right now, you can customize pairs and save them for the drop tomorrow morning. The standard Chuck Taylor retails for $100, while the platform version is priced at $110.
