Recognized for its rugged aesthetics and functional designs, Carhartt has ventured into numerous successful footwear collaborations, cementing its status in the workwear and streetwear domains. Building on the momentum of their 2021 collaboration, which brought us two distinct Chuck Taylor colorways, Carhartt WIP and Converse, reunite to focus on skateboarding essentials with the CONS Chuck Taylor All-Star Pro and CONS One Star Academy Pro Ox.
The Carhartt WIP x Converse CONS Pack introduces a sophisticated blend of materials and colors, featuring suede construction across both silhouettes. The color scheme—tan, brown, and cream—pays homage to Carhartt's workwear roots while seamlessly fitting into the modern skater's wardrobe. The Chuck Taylor All-Star Pro distinguishes itself with a unique split design; one side dons a rich brown suede, and the other a clean cream finish, offering a fresh take on the classic silhouette.
Each sneaker boasts dual-branding, with CONS and Carhartt logos prominently displayed on the tongue and co-branded details on the insole, signifying the collaboration between Carhartt Work In Progress and Converse. An additional Carhartt tag adorns the upper, further emphasizing the collaborative effort. The design is completed with a cream vulcanized rubber midsole and a durable gum rubber outsole, ensuring comfort and traction.
The Carhartt WIP x Converse CONS Pack will release on June 6, 2024, through Converse, Carhartt, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the Chuck Taylor will retail for $80, while the Academy Pro Ox retails for $85.
