Edison Chen's CLOT label has been with adidas for nearly a year, producing high-fashion and traditional footwear-inspired takes on classic adidas sneakers. So far, the Superstar has been the model of choice, with the brand's first Gazelle hitting shelves last month. Now, we have some early shots of CLOT's take on the iconic adidas Stan Smith.
The CLOT x adidas Stan Smith White Red features an all-leather upper, predominantly in a clean white color palette. Branding for The Three Stripes is present via the Stan Smith portrait atop the tongue and the perforated Three Stripes logo on the midfoot. Unique to this collaboration, Chinese characters and CLOT branding adorn the toe of the sneaker, adding a distinctive cultural touch. Co-branding for the label appears on the red insole, enhancing the collaborative feel. The heel boasts a redesigned heel tab in red leather, adorned with red and white beads that form the CLOT logo, providing a striking visual contrast. Underfoot, the sneaker is completed with an espadrille-inspired sole unit, merging classic style with modern flair.
The CLOT x adidas Stan Smith White Red will release in 2024 through Juice Store, adidas, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
