Jason Dill’s skate brand Fucking Awesome (FA) has partnered with adidas on multiple occasions over the last few years. Past collabs included takes on the adidas Samba, one in Black White and another devoid of FA branding in White Black, and the Experimental, a new model the brand helped create. Now, FA is working on an adidas Stan Smith in Core Black.
Things remain simple on this Stan Smith as FA coats the entire upper in a single black hue, contrasted through textural differences in paneling. Cracked leather appears on the toe, tongue, midfoot, and around the heel, while the heel tab is finished in black patent leather. Waxed black laces weave through the plastic TPU eyelets, resting below the Stan Smith portrait atop the tongue.

FA writes its name across the lateral midfoot, where the perforated Three Stripes logo is typically found. Instead, this is removed, leaving the only other hits of adidas branding to the heel tab. Finishing the design is the black rubber midsole and outsole.
The Fucking Awesome x adidas Stan Smith Core Black will release on March 26, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
