Converse is once again set to bring festive vibes to the sneaker world. As winter draws near, sneakerheads eagerly await seasonal drops. Converse, understanding this anticipation, is revisiting the beloved Chuck 70 Hi silhouette for a Holiday 2023 special. Before we can even sit down for Thanksgiving dinner, a Christmas-themed collection has been revealed.
This imminent collection will encompass two striking colorways, drawing inspiration from quintessential Christmas motifs: Gingerbread and Reindeer. The Gingerbread Man iteration showcases the canvas upper of the Chuck 70 enveloped in soothing green shades, brilliantly offset by yellow contrast stitching. An innovative touch is the Velcro Christmas tree, neatly positioned on the heel, designed to host a Velcro-attached gingerbread man. The classic Converse All-Star patch on the medial side doesn't stay behind, boasting an additional gingerbread man graphic. The festivity continues with ribbon laces and radiant golden metallic eyestays. Anchoring the design is a creamy midsole paired with a vibrant red rubber outsole.
In parallel, the Reindeer-themed sneaker adopts a brown for its upper, with a playful addition of Velcro around the edges of the upper and sole. This Velcro serves as a nest for a cute reindeer stuffed animal attachment. The shoe mirrors its Gingerbread counterpart with identical golden eyestays, ribbon laces, and yellow contrast stitching.
The Converse Chuck 70 Hi Christmas Pack is set to release in November 2023, through Converse and select retailers online and in-store overseas. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
