Ohio's thriving sneaker scene is about to get another feather in its cap as local retailer Corporate announces its collaboration with Jordan Brand on the iconic Air Ship silhouette. The move comes hot on the heels of our first looks at Awake NY's take on the same model, amplifying the Air Ship's recent surge in popularity, and joins a variety of Air Ship colorways launching in the coming months.
Corporate's take on the Jordan Air Ship showcases a leather and hairy suede blend. Bathed in the refreshing light menta hue, the sneaker exhibits a balance between its leather-finished mudguard and collar and the tactile suede dominating the rest of the upper. Adding contrast, the Swoosh is rendered in a shade slightly lighter than the primary color and is tastefully outlined in a sail hue, which also graces the laces. Back on the heel, "Got Em" is present, a playful nod to Nike’s renowned SNKRS app catchphrase and also an integral part of Corporate’s digital identity on Instagram and their website URL. Further personalizing this collaboration, the lateral heel proudly displays Corporate's logo, while the sockliner holds an embroidered personal message. Rounding out the design is the sail rubber midsole and grey outsole.
The Corporate x Jordan Air Ship PE SP will release September 8, 2023, through Corporate and via select Jordan NBHD retailers on September 15. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
