Craig Green and adidas have been crafting innovative sneakers, merging Green's avant-garde approach with adidas' legacy of sportswear. After numerous exciting collaborations, including the Scuba Stan, Green again takes on the iconic Stan Smith silhouette with a futuristic twist — constructed entirely from Boost.
At the forefront of this collaboration is the innovative use of the Boost material, which traditionally has been confined to the midsole. This time, Craig Green and adidas explore the material's versatility by constructing almost the entire upper out of Boost. The Silver Metallic colorway provides a shimmering futuristic aesthetic, launching alongside a "Core White" and "Core Black" iteration. The silver extends to the laces, creating a harmonious monochromatic design. A grey mesh sockliner offers contrast and breathability. Staying true to the silhouette's roots, the standard Stan Smith branding is displayed on the tongue and heel. This design highlights the co-branded Boost midsole featuring both Craig Green's and adidas' logos. The solid rubber outsole, tonally aligned with the rest of the shoe, completes the design.
The Craig Green x adidas Stan Smith Boost Pack will release in September 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. The retail price is set at $275.
