Devin Booker Remember His 70 Point Game on the Nike Book 1
Published
Devin Booker made NBA history when he dropped 70 points against the Boston Celtics on March 24, 2017, becoming the youngest player to achieve this feat. While Booker was not a signature Nike athlete then, he still was rocking The Swoosh on the court, lacing up a special pair of Hyperdunk 2016 Lows. On the 8th Anniversary of this achievement, Devin took to the court, against the Celtics no less, in a unique pair of his Nike Book 1 that remembers this moment.
Akin to other callback colorways on the Book 1, like the Moss Point, Air Penny 5, Mowabb, and his Walter Davis-inspired PE, this 70-Point Game PE mimics design details and branding elements from the Hyperdunk 2016 Low he wore during the 70-point game in 2017. A primarily black leather finish is applied to the upper, allowing the pops of purple on the Devin Booker logo atop the tongue he used before getting his signature sneaker to shine.

As you move back, you’ll see more black details, like the laces, sockliner, Swoosh, and book spine-inspired pull tab, the latter hosting the number 70 on the inside portion in orange and the actual spine of the heel featuring the date the game took place, 3/24, also in orange. Another direct reference to the Hyperdunk 2016 Low is found near the lateral heel as an orange-painted Swoosh dips down onto the black rubber midsole. Finishing the sneaker is the icy blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Book 1 70-Point Game PE will remain an exclusive sneaker for Devin Booker to remember his monumental achievement. Check below for images of the pair, and download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases.
