PJ Tucker and Devin Booker Wear Matching What The PJ Nike Book 1 PEs
Published
Undoubtedly the sneaker king of the NBA, PJ Tucker’s collection and ability to acquire rare pairs is rarely surpassed. He has the uncanny ability to get PEs and ultra-rare pairs meant for other athletes, yet they have no idea how this keeps happening. This wasn’t the case last night when the Knicks played the Suns, as Devin Booker and Tucker coordinated with one another and wore the same What The PJ Nike Book 1 PE.
A mismatched collage of colors is applied to the Book 1, swapping out the typical leather, canvas twill, and suede construction for patent leather paneling. The overlays take on hues of yellow, baby blue, royal blue, purple, green, pink, and orange, all randomly placed on each pair and rendered in patent leather. Below this sits a white patent leather toebox and midfoot panel, allowing the mismatched multi-color overlays to shine.

The multi-color theme is even applied to the Book text applied to the tongue label and the number 17 on the heel, the latter a nod to PJ Tucker’s jersey number. Down below, the model comes with a white rubber midsole and a colorful rubber outsole, red on the left pair and royal blue on the right.
Unfortunately for the public, we won’t have a shot at owning the PJ Tucker x Nike Book 1 What the PJ PE as the exclusive colorway was made for Tucker and Booker.
