Devin Booker’s High School Mascot Inspires the Nike Book 1 Moss Point Tigers PE
Published
Since debuting his signature sneaker with Nike in 2023 and releasing it to the public in early 2024, Devin Booker has used his Nike Book 1 to tell personal stories from his life. Many of these have been player-exclusive colorways, but some will make their way to retail shelves, like the upcoming Moss Point rendition. Alongside this colorway that recalls the Air Force 1 Booker made in 2019 in honor of his high school, Nike and Book have created an exclusive version that brings the Moss Point Tigers mascot to life on the sneaker.
Each panel of Book 1 is covered in exotic faux fur that resembles tiger fur. The black and tan stripes are accented by pops of sky blue on the lace aglets and the midfoot Swoosh's outline, which continues the faux tiger fur look. More faux fur lands on the tongue, which features solid black laces and a black-and-white Nike-branded woven tongue label.

Inside, the sneaker comes with a black sockliner, while the spine of the heel comes in black. Here, Book and Nike have removed the book spine-inspired pull tab, making the sneaker look sleeker. The design of this Moss Point Tigers colorway is complete with a white rubber midsole and a purple-shaded clear rubber outsole.
The Nike Book 1 Moss Point Tigers PE will remain exclusive to Devin Booker as there are no plans for a public release.
