END.'s Puma Clyde OG Pack Celebrates 50 Years Of An Icon
If you ask any Puma fan to name one of the brand's most iconic silhouettes, there's a huge possibility that they'd bring up Walt Clyde's namesake model, the Clyde. First introduced back in 1973, the retro sneaker is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and to commemorate this major milestone in style, the German sportswear company has teamed up with British streetwear retailer END. Clothing for the END. x Puma Clyde OG Pack. Comprising of three original colorways, this is the ultimate way to honor half a century of an icon.
Unveiled in "Puma Navy," "For All Time Red," and "Pine Green" color schemes, all three Clyde's are outfitted in premium hairy suede that's soft and supple to the touch. White laces tie everything together, while a frosted ivory Formstrip shoots through the laterals and medials for that vintage vibe that we all know and love. Underfoot, the creamy midsole is made from a classic rubber construction, and of course, you can't talk about this coveted collection without mentioning the gold foil branding that's stamped across the sidewalls. You'll also find individual numbering on the heel, nodding to the fact that each colorway is limited to just 300 pairs worldwide.
News of the END. x Puma Clyde OG Pack comes just weeks after Jeff Staple announced that we was taking on the old school basketball shoe, so you can guarantee that it's going to be a major year for the Clyde. Releasing on January 26th, 2023, it'll be available in men's sizes, exclusively at END, with a retail price of $155 each.
