With their storied history of collaborations, Junya Watanabe and New Balance revealed the upcoming “574 Legacy” Pack at Junya’s Spring/Summer 2022 fashion show. Introduced in three colorways, a solid release date has finally emerged.
Utilizing a combination of premium suede and leather overlays set to a base layer of mesh, the three colorways Watanabe has chosen are “Navy Black,” “Green Grey,” and “Grey Navy.” Branding remains standard along the midfoot with New Balance’s N logo present in an accenting color amongst all three colorways. NB branded tongue tags on the frontside and “The Intelligent Choice” on the rear are the final hits of the Boston-based branding on the upper as the heel tab is overtaken by “eYe” text. Placed just below this, a rubber overlay sits atop a suede heel overlay. Rounding out the look is the white midsole and black outsole combo across all three colorways.
All three colorways of the eYe Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance 574 Legacy Pack have already seen an overseas release in Japan on April 22nd, 2022, though a wider release is expected later in the year. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at ¥28,600 (Approx $221 USD).
