HAL Studios has cemented its status in the fashion world by collaborating with some of the most renowned names in footwear. Their latest venture, revealed by founder John Bouquet on Instagram, will be a first for the brand as they will team up with Clarks Originals. This announcement comes alongside a sneak peek at HAL Studio's upcoming project with Asics on the Gel-Kayano 20.
Bringing a new twist to the Wallabee Eden GTX, this collaboration is a perfect fusion of style and functionality. It features a robust, textured leather upper with a Gore-Tex coating, making these shoes stylish and weather-resistant. This collaboration includes two distinct colorways: a classic Black and a versatile Tan.
Each pair is detailed with contrast stitching along the heel, eyestays, and toebox, adding a touch of sophistication to the design. Unique code-like branding is present on the shoe's lateral side and is reminiscent of the branding approaches taken by A-Cold-Wall* and Off-White, adding a contemporary and edgy flair to the design. Co-branded tassel hangtags, one with Clarks and the other with HAL Studios, enhance the collaborative feel, with each tag colored to match the shoe's primary hue.
Underneath, the comfort and durability of the shoe are ensured by a cushioned foam midsole paired with a high-performance Vibram rubber outsole, known for its exceptional grip and wear resistance. This combination provides comfort and longevity, making these shoes a valuable addition to any wardrobe.
The HAL Studios x Clarks Originals Wallabee Eden GTX Pack will release in 2024 through HAL Studios online and possibly via Clarks and select retailers.
