All eyes are back on Liam Gallagher as he and his brother Noel have put their differences aside and are reuniting for one final tour as Oasis. Ahead of the global shows that kick off in July, Liam will also be reuniting with another former partner, Clarks Originals. His love for the brand dates back to well before his first collaboration in 2022, as throughout the ‘90s, he frequently wore shoes from the brand, but he will now get a chance to put his spin on the Desert Rain silhouette.
“My favorite Clarks shoes are the ones that are on my feet, Desert Rain,” said Gallagher, continuing, “I know when I put on Clarks. Like when I put these [Clarks Desert Rain] on today, I feel proper.”
As for Gallagher’s take on the silhouette, he replaces the archival sneaker’s traditional suede upper with a jumbo cotton cord construction in Clarks’ iconic tonal tan color scheme. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Clarks release without an added suede tag, seen here with branding for the footwear brand and Liam Gallagher. An even more direct nod to the Oasis frontman is found on the heel as his portrait is debossed onto the suede panel. Underfoot, the model utilizes Clarks Original’s premium pebble crepe sole in a natural shade.
The Liam Gallagher x Clarks Originals Desert Rain will release on March 20, 2025, through Clarks and select retailers online and in-store. An early release will occur in-store at the Clarks Originals Berwick Street store in London and the King Street location in Manchester on March 19. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is priced at £140 (approximately $180 USD).
