It's hard to believe that Halo Infinite has already been around for one year. Widely regarded as one of the best entries in the Halo series, the first-person shooter has won multiple awards over the past few months. To celebrate its first anniversary, adidas has teamed up with 343 Industries and Xbox for the special edition Halo Infinite x adidas NMD_V3 "UNSC." Taking on one of the German sportswear giant's most popular silhouettes, here's everything that we know so far.
Painted in an "Ice Blue" colorway, this vibrant tone resembles Halo's iconic ring, the Energy Swords, as well as Master Chief's AI, Cortana. Crafted from a versatile knit material, this is overlaid by semi-translucent panels while carbon accents hit the sockliner and heel. While the lateral side features the signature Three Stripes, the medial side is printed with "UNSC" as a nod to the United Nations Space Command. Fret and Lumu icons make a cameo on the tongue, and this all sits on top of a chunky Boost midsole that's as comfortable as it gets.
The Halo Infinite x adidas NMD_V3 UNSC Ice Blue is set to release on November 5th, 2022, just before the game's first birthday. Expected to drop in men's sizes with a retail price yet TBA, you'll be able to secure a pair at adidas and select online and in-store retailers worldwide.
