Although it’s been years since Harry Potter’s on-screen adventures concluded, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is still as popular as ever. Regarding footwear, we’ve seen the franchise team up with Reebok, Crocs, and, more recently, Puma, the latter utilizing Breanna Stewart’s Puma Stewie 3. Well before this release in August, we got an early look at a Puma Easy Rider featuring Gryffindor details. Still, another one of the houses has emerged, and Slytherin is getting a Puma Palermo.
The silhouette takes on a deep green shade reminiscent of Slytherin’s colors. Leather is featured on the T-shaped toebox overlay, vamp, heel overlay, and along the tongue, with the tongue getting a folded finish reminiscent of vintage soccer cleats. Here is where you’ll find a direct reference to the house of Slytherin as a snake logo is debossed into the leather, and the house's name is spelled out in silver. Another nod to Slytherin is found on the heel, again via the snake logo. Inside, Puma and Harry Potter co-branding continues the silver theme. Finishing the design are hits of black on the lace set and sole unit.
The Harry Potter x Puma Palermo Slytherin has no confirmed release date but is expected to launch before the end of 2024 through Puma and select retailers online and in-store.
