Jayson Tatum is having a spectacular 2024. The Boston Celtics star has earned his first NBA Finals victory, launched his second signature sneaker with Jordan Brand, and teased his third one as the cover athlete of NBA 2K25. Alongside these accolades, Tatum will join the ranks of Chris Paul and Zion Williamson as Jordan Brand gives him his own collaborative Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG. News of this collab was first reported by Brandon1an and Sneaker Market RO.
Inspired by the Jordan Tatum 3 Welcome to the Garden, Tatum's Air Jordan 1 Low features an identical floral pattern print applied to the overlays. Below the floral print is a light tan hue, which allows the multi-color floral print to shine through. Green suede, an obvious nod to Tatum's Boston Celtics, is located on the toebox, tongue, Swoosh, and heel tab. Branding details include Tatum's signature placed on the insole, Nike Air branding on the tongue tag, and a Jordan Wings logo stamped on the heel. Underfoot sits a sail midsole paired with a gum rubber outsole.
The Jayson Tatum x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG will be released via an exclusive drop at Concepts on October 5, 2024, at the retailer's Boston location. The pair will come in a two-pack that features both the AJ1 Low and the Jordan Tatum 3 Welcome to the Garden. We should see a wider release for both pairs individually at a later date. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140 for the shoe by itself. However, the two-pack will retail for $300.
