At the end of last year, New York City's very own Jeff Staple dropped a rare three-way collaboration in the form of the atmos x Staple x Puma Suede. A colorway that sold out in an instant, sneakerheads were completely besotted by the retro aesthetic and monochromatic palette. Now, less than two months later, and the Chinese-American multi-hyphenate is ready to reveal his next project with the German sportswear company in the form of the Jeff Staple x Puma Suede CFL "Limoges." Celebrating the vintage silhouette's 55th birthday, this special edition colorway is guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go.
While hype surrounding this collab definitely won't be on the same level as his SB Dunk Low from 2005, it's still going to be pretty popular. Crafted from heel to toe in buttery suede, this Suede CFL boasts a mismatched design that's destined to stop traffic. Blue, gold, and violet panels clash and contrast against each other, while a leather Formstrip shoots across the laterals and medials in a pink emberglow hue. Staple's signature pigeon motif is finely stitched across the lateral heels, while the medial side is reserved for the phrase "Create From Chaos" in an angular font. All of this sits on top of a textured rubber midsole, and it comes with five sets of laces so you can mix and match to your heart's content.
The Jeff Staple x Puma Suede CFL Limoges is set to release on February 18th, 2023 in men's sizes. Expected to drop at Puma and select online and in-store stockists, they'll retail for $100 each.
