Jordan Brand Officially Unveils the Jordan Luka 4
Published
All eyes were on Luka Dončić when his former team, the Dallas Mavericks, met his new family, the Los Angeles Lakers, for the first time since the blockbuster trade. Jordan Brand made sure to utilize the extra press and attention around Luka, debuting the Slovenian’s next signature sneaker, the Jordan Luka 4, in the game. Jordan Brand has officially unveiled the model and its upcoming colorways, revealing design inspiration, tech details, and more.
The Jordan Luka 4 is built with performance at its core, leveraging an enhanced IsoPlate system that provides torsional rigidity and lockdown support, ensuring Luka can efficiently execute his signature step-backs and agile cuts. A Nike Zoom Air unit is embedded in the forefoot for the first time in a Luka sneaker. Alongside this is a Cushlon 3.0 foam midsole for a smooth, comfortable ride for extended gameplay.
On the upper, Flightwire cables return to the lateral side, adding lightweight containment reminiscent of the original Luka 1 and bringing back a design detail that Luka loved. Design-wise, Jordan Brand introduces a compass motif on the outsole, replacing the traditional N-E-S-W markers with L-U-K-A, a nod to Dončić’s love of wristwatches and precision timing.

“The Luka 4 is made exactly for my game, giving me a new tool to help me play my best and push my performance,” says Luka. “The IsoPlate really helps me with my balance and my step-backs, the Zoom Air unit adds a new level of responsiveness, and the Cushlon 3.0 midsole makes this a very comfortable shoe.”
The Luka 4 will launch in multiple storytelling-driven colorways, including the Navigate edition (exclusive to China, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America), which draws inspiration from Slovenia’s Lake Bled, and the Gone Fishing version (launching worldwide), a playful reference to sending opponents on early vacations come playoff time.
Alongside these two pairs are the Space Navigator (launching worldwide), inspired by Luka’s affinity for bright colors, and Bloodline (launching everywhere except North America), which is a take on the classic black, varsity red, and white color palette Jordan Brand is famous for, and a Quai54 iteration (exclusive to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), made for the French streetball tournament.

“My favorite thing to do in the offseason is to get out on the boat and go fishing, which I’ve been doing since I was young,” says Luka. “I love the peace and the space of the ocean, driving the boat and getting some sun. Just like basketball, fishing teaches me patience — and helps me relax and prepare for the next season.”
The Jordan Luka 4 will debut in the Space Navigator colorway on April 8, 2025, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. The retail price is $130 for men and $100 for GS sizing. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
