The Jordan Luka 4 Gone Fishing Releases May 2025

Spending the latter half of the 2024-2025 NBA season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Luka Doncic had the entire world watching him as soon as the blockbuster, and frankly absurd, trade from the Dallas Mavericks took place. Never missing a key marketing opportunity, Jordan Brand used the extra attention on Doncic to debut his fourth signature sneaker, the Jordan Luka 4, early on in his Laker career. One of the first colorways shown when JB officially unveiled the shoe is more fitting than ever, as, ironically, Luka Doncic has Gone Fishing.

Although Jordan Brand and Luka weren’t expecting a first-round exit from the playoffs for the Lakers, the Gone Fishing moniker for this Jordan Luka 4 doesn’t come from the playful phrase to describe a player or team who has been eliminated from the postseason. Instead, Luka’s love of fishing is on full display, with the upper taking on a light pink hue accented by bold orange and yellow shades on the midfoot and tongue. Solid black paneling on the tongue, lace set, sockliner, and heel allows the vibrant hues on most of the sneaker to shine.

The Gone Fishing moniker is driven home by including a custom lure charm, featuring a fish and a Jumpman logo, and the fish makeover applied to the Luka logo on the heel tab. Underfoot, the sneaker comes with a white, orange, and light green Cushlon 3.0 foam midsole that contains an embedded Zoom Air unit in the forefoot and a semi-translucent rubber outsole that displays multiple colors with a compass design in the center.

The Jordan Luka 4 Gone Fishing will release on May 15, 2025, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and kids’ sizing, the retail price is $140 and $110, respectively.
