Performance basketball silhouettes are long gone from being in the “hype” culture we all partake in nowadays, however, releases from the likes of Jordan Brand offer ball players stylish on-court sneakers that perform well above the rest of the competition. Starting in 2023, we’re set to receive the next iteration of Russell Westbrook’s signature sneaker with JB, the Why Not 0.6, and it’s now appearing in a “Bel-Air” colorway.
Obviously taking influence from the iconic AJ 5 of the same name, the Jordan Why Not 0.6 “Bel-Air” features bright shades reminiscent of the 90s across the ripstop nylon upper. You’ll find bright blue shades on this material, accenting suede hits around the mudguard and TPU reinforcing the structure near the midfoot. More shades of blue take over the leather and suede overlays on the heel while pink dresses the Jumpman embroidery, sockliner, and accent stitching on the tongue. Utilizing a laceless construction, a zipper helps lock you in with the teeth spelling out “Why Not?” Underfoot you’ll find a white foam midsole while a grippy multi-color rubber outsole completes the look.
The Jordan Why Not 0.6 Bel-Air is set to release on March 22nd, 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
