Joshua Vides Shrouds This Converse Chuck 70

LA-based artist Joshua Vides has had the pleasure of working with numerous high-end brands including BMW and Fendi. With these collaborations under his belt, Vides is bringing an elevated look to the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70.
Starting with the Chuck Taylor, the entire canvas upper is dressed in black with white dots scattered throughout. Though this design is not immediately visible, pulling the zipper down from the white shroud that covers the canvas will reveal the upper underneath. The dot pattern also continues on the toebox with two black dots contrasting off the white rubber. The usual canvas tongue is replaced by black pebbled leather with matching black laces to suit. Over top the shroud is tan colored Converse All-Star branding.
Running up the spine of the heel is a black leather strip, just above the last bit of Converse branding on the midsole. Rounding out the entire look is a classic cream colored Chuck 70 midsole with caution cone branding paired to a black outsole. Alongside this Chuck Taylor, the duo will release a two-tone black and white Converse Pro Leather and a black and transparent mixed Converse Weapon CX.
