Founded by Colm Dillane in his parent's basement in 2010, KidSuper Studios has evolved from an underground label to a significant player in the menswear arena, even venturing into high fashion through collaboration with Louis Vuitton in 2023. Now, in a reunion that marks their continuous innovation in design, KidSuper Studios and Puma have unveiled their latest collection set to drop in 2024, building on their successful 2021 capsule.
This upcoming collection showcases a fresh take on three iconic Puma silhouettes: the Velophasis, two Palermos, and two iterations of the Easy Rider. Each model within the KidSuper Studios x Puma 2024 Collection breaks from tradition, introducing innovative paneling and material updates that redefine their classic appearances. The Velophasis, known for its Y2K-inspired design, receives a vibrant transformation with suede overlays in a captivating circular pattern, blending green, cream, and pink hues atop a distressed sole unit for a touch of vintage charm. The Palermo model adopts an earthy palette of Chocolate Cream for one pair and a Cream Pink combo for the second colorway. Both are contrasted by a striking blue neoprene heel embellished with co-branded tongue tags and practical pull tabs.
The Easy Rider sneakers, presented in Brown Purple and Pastel colorways, mirror the Velophasis's creative approach with circular overlays, offering a fresh perspective on this beloved runner. Each pair within the collection comes with co-branded details for KidSuper Studios and Puma on the tongue and insole.
The KidSuper Studios x Puma 2024 Collection kicks off with the Velophasis Olive Green and Palermo Chocolate on April 13, 2024. The rest of the collection will release on September 21, through KidSuper Studios, Puma, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the Easy Rider will retail for $140, the Velophasis for $130, and the Palermo for $120.
