With its storied history and worldwide fan base, Liverpool FC is renowned not only in the football world but also for the culture it represents. This influence extends beyond the stadium walls and into the streets, reflected in the merchandise and collaborations the club participates in. Continuing to bridge the gap between sport and style, Liverpool FC and Converse are joining forces again, unveiling a fresh limited-edition capsule collection set to release just as the fall season is in full swing.
Stemming from a partnership that resonates with both style enthusiasts and die-hard Liverpool fans, this new collection encapsulates the rich heritage of Liverpool FC while embracing the artistic flair of its supporters. The assortment introduces apparel and footwear, including the Chuck Taylor, that fuse iconic symbols of both brands. The Liverpool FX x Converse Chuck 70 High takes inspiration from Liverpool FC’s recognizable away colors. Beyond this, the lineup expands to introduce a premium unisex puffer jacket, drawing eyes with dual-branding that denotes the collaboration's exclusivity. Not to be overshadowed, the Liverpool FC x Converse Star Player 76 sneakers are paired with apparel options like a long-sleeve rugby top, T-shirt, and tracksuit.
Figures like multidisciplinary creative Dredz, melodious Pixey, and artist Sterling Rose Kelly are lending their talents to the campaign. They stand shoulder to shoulder with Liverpool FC’s Darwin Núñez, Missy Bo Kearns, and Taylor Hinds. Notably, the campaign involved a collaboration with Homotopia, a Liverpool-based LGBTQIA+ organization. Its artists, including Olivia Graham, Margie Houlston, and others, have also left their mark on the collection’s creative journey.
The Liverpool FC x Converse Collection will release October 24, 2023, through Converse, Liverpool FC, and select retailers online and in-store. The Chuck 70 Hi is priced at $100, the Star Player 76 at $95, and the All-Star Hi at $75.
