Memphis Grizzlies star Marcus Smart is continuing his partnership with Puma in 2024. Earlier in the year, Smart launched a colorway of the Puma All-Pro Nitro in collaboration with his Young Game Changers foundation. He is following up with a similar colorway on the Puma Genetics.
The budget-friendly Genetics model sees a multi-color makeover courtesy of Marcus Smart, with a grid pattern applied to the base and a heat map-esque color scheme radiating from the center out. Bright blue accents contrast the red and orange hues of the midfoot, tongue, and sockliner as fused TPU and leather panels line the edge of the sole and upper. Branding for Smart’s Young Game Changers foundation is found along the tongue tag, insole, and pull tab, with Puma formstrip logos placed sporadically across the upper. Underfoot, the silhouette comes complete with a blue foam midsole and a tonal blue rubber outsole.
The Marcus Smart x Puma Genetics will release on October 30, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $80.
