After teaming up with adidas and BAPE earlier this season, Marvel now has its sights set on Diadora for yet another superhero sneaker collection. Taking a break from the usual Avengers line-up, this collaboration is inspired by Professor Xavier's band of merry mutants. Dubbed the Marvel x Diadora "X-Men" Pack, the collection features a selection of unique sneakers that pay homage to three of the most powerful members of the X-Men team.
Inspired by Phoenix, Storm, and of course, Wolverine, Phoenix is represented with the hardcourt-ready Basket silhouette and is painted in her signature red and black color scheme. Storm, on the other hand, opts for the Basket Low, and is crafted from a buttery all-suede construction that feels pretty premium in-hand. Finally, Wolverine gets his own model with the N9002. One of the most popular pairs in Diadora's roster, this special edition version is kitted out in ripstop and leather and is influenced by Logan's classic outfit from the original comics. All three pairs boasts Diadora branding on the tongue and Marvel's iconic logo embroidered around the heel. They also come in special edition shoeboxes, making this collaboration even more sought-after especially for hardcore fans of the franchise.
The Marvel x Diadora X-Men Pack is set to release on January 24th, 2023 in men's sizes. The Phoenix and Storm will retail for $110 and $100, respectively, while the Wolverine will set you back $130 at Diadora, Foot Locker, Champs, and select retailers online and in physical locations.
