Space exploration is the last great frontier humans have yet to fully conquer. Still, this generation is caught in limbo—born too early to witness the full realization of proper space travel. Even if we likely won’t be able to hop on spaceships at whim and explore the vastness of the universe, we’re expected to return to the moon in the foreseeable future. However, on Earth, adidas is teaming up with a winter boot brand, Moon Boot, to produce two new silhouettes that feature Boost cushioning tech.
The high-top and low-top MoonBoost silhouettes are getting two colorways each, with the MoonBoost High coming in Power Blue and Core Black and the MoonBoost Low coming in Clear Brown and Core Black. Aside from the different cuts, both sneakers have the same material makeup, featuring a puffer-like internal construction reminiscent of adidas’ Moncler collab reinforced with neoprene and suede. Branding comes plastered on the neoprene along the collar, with an adidas Three Stripes mountain logo next to MOON BOOT text. The high-top also features this branding on the lateral heel, while the low-cut version adds Three Stripes details to the midfoot. All the pairs finish underfoot with a white Boost midsole and a black rubber outsole.
The Moon Boot x adidas MoonBoost collection will release on November 7, 2024, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
