The NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas NMD_S1 Pack Releases June 16

Collaborators for adidas span across the globe and in recent memory we even saw The Three Stripes host a bracket-style tournament to showcase the talent of their top partners. One frequent contributor for adidas that wasn’t in the tournament, the Japanese label NEIGHBORHOOD, is once again teaming up with adidas to bring forth two renditions of the adidas NMD_S1 with a new boot-like design being present in the pack.

Keeping the darker theme we see from the Japanese label, NEIGHBORHOOD fused the NMD_S1 with a moccasin-like upper as its features an all-nubuck construction and a high-top cut. Layered panels add to the outdoor look while a co-branded adidas and NEIGHBORHOOD buckle keeps your foot secure. More premium details, like the black leather sockliner and white stitching details around the sole and toe, finish off the upper while a co-branded Boost-cushioned NMD_S1 midsole and outsole complete the look.

For the standard NMD_S1, the Primeknit pattern on the upper gives the sneaker an outdoor look with all-black shades accented by white knit details throughout. Wrapping around the midfoot to the collar is a zigzag stitch pattern in white that eventually fades into a scattered white knit once you reach the heel. More hits of white land on the heel portion of the collar and on the lace set with its two-tone black/white design. TPU Three Stripes on the midfoot come in a tonal black while the design is finished by a black NMD_S1 midsole with co-branded details and a black rubber outsole.

The NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas NMD_S1 Pack will release in Japan on May 27 while a US launch will go down June 16 through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, both pairs will retail for $250.
