New Balance continues to impress with its ability to revive classic silhouettes and introduce them with fresh, modern twists. The New Balance 1000 is the latest model to be brought back, following its successful re-launch with collaborations from Joe Freshgoods and Aime Leon Dore. Since then, the New Balance 1000 has seen various inline versions, including the Black Multi-Color, Angora Moonrock, and Grey Silver editions. Now, the brand is set to release a striking Red Black colorway.
The New Balance 1000 Red Black features a bold, vibrant design combining retro and contemporary elements. The upper is highlighted by wavy leather panels in a vibrant red hue, prominently featured on the mudguard, midfoot, tongue, and heel. This look is contrasted by a black mesh base, which peeks through on the toe and midfoot, adding depth and texture to the overall look. The color palette is further accented by pops of orange on the lace loops and the New Balance 1000 branding atop the tongue.
Additional branding elements include a grey and white N logo on the midfoot, white 1000 text on the toe, and a New Balance logo on the heel. Combining these colors and materials creates a dynamic, eye-catching aesthetic that stands out in any sneaker collection. Underfoot, the sneaker has a black foam midsole for superior cushioning and support, paired with a black and red rubber outsole for optimal traction and durability.
The New Balance 1000 Red Black will release in 2024 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
