New Balance's journey through its storied archives continues with the much-anticipated revival of the New Balance 1000, a silhouette that hit the scene in 1999. As New Balance delves deeper into its heritage, the brand is set to reintroduce this classic model in 2024 with various colorways that blend the past with the present. Among the latest to be unveiled is the New Balance 1000 in a soothing White Grey Cream palette. This release follows the unveiling of the Metallic Silver and Grey inline colorways and the collaborative effort with Joe Freshgoods that will see the Pink Mink and Black Ice editions.
The White Grey Cream iteration of the New Balance 1000 showcases a meticulous blend of materials across its upper, featuring textile and leather with strategic TPU accents for added durability and style. Most of the sneaker basks in a pristine white shade, complemented by subtle grey accents that adorn the base layer and the iconic N logo. The design's wavy leather panels gracefully transition to the heel, introducing a striking blue hue that echoes on the tongue's tip, adding a splash of color to the neutral base.
This carefully considered color story continues underfoot with a cream foam midsole, accented with playful pink touches near the heel and forefoot. The midsole incorporates New Balance's renowned ABZORB and Ndurance cushioning systems, ensuring unparalleled comfort and support. A contrasting black rubber outsole rounds off the design.
The New Balance 1000 White Grey Cream will release on June 26, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
