The New Balance 1906R Pastel Pack Releases Spring 2025

Much of New Balance’s success in recent years can be credited to its masterful use of archival silhouettes. One of the brand’s most popular models, the 1906R, has undergone countless makeovers since it was brought back in 2022, many of which align with seasonal color palettes. For Spring 2025, NB is coating the 1906R in three pastel color schemes, perfect for springtime.
Teased by Yue Wu, the New Balance designer responsible for one of the most popular variants of the 1906R, the Protection Pack iteration, the three colors come with a pastel-shaded mesh base and metallic silver accents. Included in this is a Yellow, Pink, and Blue Green colorway. Starting with the yellow pair, the model comes with a pastel yellow mesh on its base, tan leather on the toe, metallic green leather on the overlays, and metallic silver on the TPU heel counter. Similar colorblocking and design details are found on the pink and blue-green renditions, each featuring tonal leather overlays near the toe, metallic leather on the midfoot, and the same silver on the heel.

Cream laces contrast all three sneakers, with the nylon lace loops also coming as part of the N logo on the midfoot. More NB branding is found on the tongue in tonal finishes for each color. Underfoot, the 1906Rs midsole comes in cream on the front half and takes on a tonal hit that matches the primary shade on the colorway.
The New Balance 1906R Pastel Pack has already been released at select retailers, but there will be a global drop through New Balance in the coming weeks. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is $155. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
