New Balance introduced the 9060 in 2022, a silhouette designed by James Lee and Yue Wu that draws inspiration from the Y2K era of sneakers and the brand's iconic 990 series and 860v2. Since its debut with a Joe Freshgoods collab, the 9060 has become a staple in New Balance's lineup, celebrated for its modern take on classic designs. The model has seen a variety of inline colorways and notable collaborations, making it a favorite among sneakerheads. For its latest makeover, New Balance presents the 9060 in a vibrant Fuchsia Pink color scheme, set to turn heads this summer.
The New Balance 9060 Fuchsia Pink features a rich mix of materials, including suede, mesh, and leather. The upper showcases a bold Fuchsia hue across the suede panels that cover the toe, mudguard, midfoot, and heel. Complementing the vibrant suede, a lighter pink mesh adds contrast and texture along the toe and collar, while additional light pink suede accents appear on the midfoot. Cream laces sit atop a mesh and leather tongue, adding a subtle contrast. Branding details include a cream N logo on the lateral midfoot and a pink NB embroidered on the heel, maintaining the sneaker's cohesive aesthetic. The design is completed with a cream 9060 midsole featuring pink accents and a black and pink outsole for a stylish finish.
The New Balance 9060 Fuchsia Pink W will release on August 15, 2024, via Foot Locker online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
