2022 gave way to New Balance’s rise in prominence for your average sneakerhead as key collaborators, serious heat from their GR colorways, and their renown for excellent quality created a big buzz for the Boston-based footwear label. One of the brand’s latest models, the 9060, also played a pivotal role in the rise of NB and will continue to receive new colorways as we head into 2023. Following the reveal of the “White Silver” colorway, an “Outerspace Blue” rendition has appeared.
As the naming convention suggests, the entire sneaker comes covered in galactic shades of blue with navy being the most prominent. Suede overlays wrap from the toe up toward the silver/white “N” logo along the midfoot and continue back to the heel. Beneath all of this sits a steel-blue mesh that comes accented by silver 99X-Esque overlays on the toebox and collar. Stark white laces run up the tongue towards the “New Balance 9060” logo in the branding window and the NB logo on the heel is our final hit of visible branding on the upper. Rounding out the upper is the white sockliner while the entire sneaker’s design is finished via the two-tone cream/white midsole and black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 9060 Outerspace Blue is set to release in January 2023 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. A restock is set to go down in March. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
