New Balance’s introduction of the 9060 silhouette couldn’t have come at a better time as the growing popularity of not only the brand itself but the retro chunky dad shoe led to the model becoming a mainstay in NB’s lineup of offerings. As of late, a slew of colorways has begun to pop up including “Cherry Blossom” and “Purple” which differ from the usual earth tones and classic NB color palettes seen on most releases of the model. Now, adding to its upcoming 9060 release calendar, the model has appeared in a “Pine Green” color scheme.
Dressed in suede overlays that take on a pine green hue, the model features black mesh along its underlays with accenting hits of silver, grey, and cream throughout the design. Along the toebox, we see leather overlays that call back to the iconic 99X series and take on a cream finish that matches the heel tab and collar overlays. Working towards the midfoot you’ll spot a 3M reflective silver “N” logo piped in white and grey TPU eyelets just above. Black shades, aside from the mesh underlay, take over the lace set, the bottom 3/ 4 of the tongue, and the branding window placed in the center of the suede portion of the tongue. Rounding out the design is the tri-toned black, grey, and blue foam midsole paired with a black rubber outsole featuring green hits on the diamond-shaped traction pods.
The New Balance 9060 Pine Green has already seen a small release through select EU retailers on March 16th, 2023 while a wider release via New Balance and global retailers is set for later in 2023. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
