After debuting early in 2022 thanks to a Joe Freshgoods collaboration, the New Balance 9060 has begun to see various inline releases throughout the rest of the year. While many of these have remained in the realm of neutral shades, like the “Black Castlerock” or “Rain Cloud Castlerock,” we’re set to receive a variety of colorful renditions in the near future, like the recently revealed New Balance 9060 “Pink Purple.”
Taking on a similar shade to the classic Kith “Daytona” and the Salehe Bembury x NB 574 Yurt, a combination of white, pink, purple, and black covers the silhouette from head to toe. Wavy suede panels start on the toe and wrap around towards the midfoot’s white “N” logo, transitioning from pink on the front half to purple on the rear. This same gradient effect applies to the aforementioned branding details trim while the rest of the toebox comes in a white mesh finish with black nubuck overlays. A white-on-white tongue and lace set get contrasted by black details, such as the “N” embroidery, lace loop, and “NB 9060” text. More pink lands on the sock and tongue lining while the insole below takes on a stealthy black appearance. Rounding out the design is a two-tone white and cream chunky foam midsole with accented pink hits paired to the black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 9060 Pink Purple is set to release in 2022 through New Balance and select NB retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
