New Balance's iconic 99X series has been a staple in the sneaker world for decades, and it is known for its commitment to quality and comfort. This legacy continues to evolve by reintroducing the New Balance 992, a model beloved by sneakerheads and casual wearers alike. In 2024, under the creative direction of Teddy Santis, the Made in USA line revitalized the 993 model. Looking ahead to 2025, Santis has unveiled early images of the 992 model, set to release in multiple colorways, including a striking Yellow Black rendition.
The New Balance 992 Made in USA Yellow Black maintains the classic elements that have made the 99X series popular. The upper features a mix of premium pigskin suede overlays, durable mesh on the base, and nubuck overlays along the toe. This combination ensures a stylish appearance and the high level of comfort and durability that New Balance is known for. The bold yellow hue dominates the upper, complemented by black accents that add depth and contrast.
This colorway is part of Santis's seasonal collection, currently in its fifth season, and promises to be a standout piece in the lineup. Alongside this pair and more in Santis’ collection, New Balance has plans for an array of core colors that one would expect to see, including Navy, Black, Nimbus Cloud, Grey, and more.
The New Balance 992 Made in USA Yellow Black will release in 2025 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
