The Nike Air Foamposite One Dream A World Grey Releases March 3

One of the most iconic performance basketball sneakers of all time, the Nike Air Foamposite One has cemented itself in history. Even 20-plus years past its debut the sneaker looks like something from the future, and thanks to its manufacturing process, it virtually has an unlimited number of color combinations. While The Swoosh has slowed down on releases in the last few years, this holiday season we are expected to receive two colorways in a pack dubbed “Dream A World.” Already seen in "Black", a greytone version has just emerged and comes designed with the help of A Ma Maniere owner James Whitner.

Tonal grey shades cover the synthetic, suede, and mesh upper with lighter tones appearing on the latter two materials, and a marbled almost paint stroke-like design makes it the foam overlay. Along the eyestays and collar sits grey suede, featuring a mini Swoosh embroidered near the bottom of the lace set, contrasted by the tie-dye laces that match the tone of the foam upper. Sandwich mesh takes over the tongue and sockliner with the top of the tongue and heel hosting tonal pull tabs in a similar grey hue. Working over to the insole, you’ll notice the quote “Luck/Success happens when preparation meets opportunity,” a phrase attributed to the famous ancient Roman philosopher Lucius Seneca. This same quote appears on the paper inside the shoe box while “Dream A World” messaging is placed all throughout the cardboard box itself. Rounding out the design of the sneaker clear semi-translucent rubber outsole with a carbon fiber shank on the forefoot, encasing the Zoom Air cushioning system inside.

The Nike Air Foamposite One Dream A World Grey is set to release in March 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. A Ma Maniere will be the first retailer to release pairs with the drop date set for February 24th, 2023. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $250.
