A classic silhouette, the Nike Air Force 1 Low has just celebrated its 40th birthday in 2022, and with this, we have seen a variety of renditions on the OG model as well as iterations like the “Anniversary” edition. Tapping into the vintage aesthetic that has taken over fashion in the last few years, we’re set to receive a “Classic” iteration of the AF1 Low in 2023 with a clean “White Smoke Grey” color palette and aged details.
Covered in tumbled white leather across the majority of the upper, smoke grey details accent this color palette throughout the upper. Typical AF1 details remain, like the perforated toebox and tonal stitching details, while an added golden hangtag depicts what seems to be a microphone. This comes attached to the white lace set which works its way up the tongue in the same white shade while the “Nike” branded tag above comes with a retro-like design in a smoke grey finish. Continuing the smoke grey color scheme is the foam insole which comes with a “Nike AF1 Classic” logo while the rest of the branding details, seen on the mid-foot’s Swoosh and heel tab, get a distressed smoke grey makeover. Rounding out the design is the aged AF1 midsole paired with a grey rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Classic White Smoke Grey is set to release in the Summer of 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
