Nike is certainly no stranger when it comes to sneakers inspired by the NBA's finest. After taking the wraps off of the Nike Air Force 1 Low EMB "Lakers" at the end of last month, the American sportswear company has now revealed the Nike Air Force 1 Low EMB "Dark Obsidian University Gold" which quite clearly pays homage to the Golden State Warriors. Featuring a slew of unique details which nod to the AF1's roots on the hardcourt, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
Boasting a full leather construction that's soft and supple to the touch, these Forces work on top of a crisp white color scheme while dark obsidian navy panels make their way to the toebox, lacing system, and heel. University gold Swooshes shoots through the lateral and medial sides, and these are overlaid on top of an intricately designed pattern which features basketball as well as the Nike logo, throwing back to the Air Force 1's original use before it became a worldwide phenomenon. All off this sits on top of a clean Air midsole that's further accented with the Golden State Warriors' official team colors.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low EMB Dark Obsidian University Gold is set to release in Summer 2023 in men's sizes.
