Fresh off the release of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 OG “Sport Red,” The Swoosh is set to release a slew of Air Max 1 colorways in 2023. On top of bringing back older pairs with new twists, like the “Urwara” and “White Red Black,” new Premium versions are also on the release calendar. Adding animal print and denim to the model, the Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Denim Animal Print” has received official images.
Covered in a mixture of denim, leather, and mesh, the model features a clash of various animal prints, blue denim, and white textured mesh. Blue denim is present along the overlays, seen on the mudguard, eyestays, and midfoot, with the former of the three locations featuring golden stitching details. Below this sits a white textured mesh, almost like an elephant print. More animal patterns are spotted on the vamp and heel overlay, likely referencing cheetahs and leopards. Adding more premium touches to the silhouette, the laces appear in a true rope-like fashion, with the Nike-branded tag above in tan tumbled leather. Our last hit of color on the upper comes in a gold and red print along the collar, while everything gets rounded out by a simple white-on-white Air Max 1 sole unit.
The Nike Air Max 1 Premium Denim Animal Print will be released on April 28th, 2023, through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
